Anna Williams Has a Sick Hairstyle and a Grenade Launcher in New Tekken 8 DLC for PS5

Title tops three million sales

Could series stalwart Anna Williams possibly look any cooler? While she’s always had a sharp trim, the highlights add a lot to her Tekken 8 look. The grenade launcher is pretty bad ass too, we must admit.

The lesser-known Williams sibling will join sister Nina in the game from 31st March for Year 2 Pass owners and 3rd April for everyone else.

The Year 2 Pass will also include:

Summer 2025: A new stage and character
Fall 2025: A new character
Winter 2025: A new stage and character

In other related news, publisher Bandai Namco has confirmed that Tekken 8 has now sold three million copies, and is selling faster than its predecessor Tekken 7, which shifted over 12 million units to date.

Not really feeling that hair design. I also kinda expected her hair to be a bit longer, as a 'counter' to Nina's short hair.

Oh look another character who was in the previous entry and was DLC as well. So far Clive aside all the characters released as DLC have been characters who were in T7 or DLC in T7.

Tekken really went all in on fun and cool and screw realism.
I like that.

I could swear Anna used to be the older sister. Oh well... whatever.

@Nem Was it ever realistic though? Tekken 2 has Angel and Tekken 3 has the monster known as Ogre, then you have all the various fighting animal characters.

@DennisReynolds Tekken 2 not just has Angel but also Devil Kazuya who can fly and shoots laser haha.

But yeah Tekken never been realistic since the 1st game.

I don't love the new hairstyle but still looking forward to Anna joining the roster and I'm sure there will be customization options.

Not really digging the hair style, but I don’t completely hate it. As @Gamer83 mentioned, there should be customization options. Bout time I get back into Tekken 8.

Tekken has always been an anime in game form and needs to be thought of as such. That said, it absolutely has gotten sillier. You only need to compare the T2 and 3 endings to what came later.

@DennisReynolds I would argue it did start as an answer to virtua fighter and martial arts based with albeit a spark here and there, but now it has transitioned to guns, machine guns, grenade launchers, etc. Everything goes now. But, as I say, it's not a bad thing. I think realistic is boring.
