Helldivers 2 has taken a new patch on PS5 and PC that adds new weather effects to the popular shooter and triples the maximum level. Having downloaded update 01.000.200, you'll have the chance to encounter blizzards and sandstorms while out on missions. Also, you can now grind your way up to level 150 while getting used to some balance changes across various mission types, weapons, and enemies.
The complete list of patch notes is available to view on Steam, but some examples include pushing back enemy spawn points in Retrieve Essential Personnel, the Destroy Command Bunkers mission getting more objective locations, and adjustments to the Arc Thrower, Dominator, and Slugger weapons.

The dev is really impressing me. they keep updating/adding stuff every week it feels like. I think once they add the next enemy faction it's going give a boost to the player base.
I just saw a vid of something else they added... I need work to end so I can jump in and try the updates.

The game that just keeps on giving. Hd2 and dd2 are my fave games so far this year..I'll have to check this new update out later..
HD2 is a wicked game. My gripe is that I can't see my PC friends name on my friends list in game. Besides that. This game is awesome. Keep up the great work.
Haven't played since they fixed match making... but this is a great game and I love the support. But I think I'm still level 25 lol
Love this update. I wonder if they will impact any of the trophies. I still have a couple left for the plat.
Really want to get my hands on this game. I know my friends don't have any interest in playing it but I genuinely think it looks like a fun time.

@gymratAmarillo Not surprising, but I've been wanting the blizzard weather since release because it never worked despite it showing that as an effect for one of the planets so I'm hyped.

It is. I tend to not care much about multiplayer games, but this one had a very interesting premise that got me to try it and now I'm hooked. To further illustrate, I had Rebirth installed on my PS5 since launch day, but have not touched it, which is something I didn't think would be possible.

@StrickenBiged On what difficulty are they appearing? Played around 7 matches on challenging and haven't seen the new enemies yet.
@UltimateOtaku91 Dunno, my regular crew weren't available last night and there's no way I'm going into 7+ against bots with Randoms! I played up to difficulty 6 last night with randoms and didn't see the new bots on my missions either.
