Pre-orders for an unannounced PS4 collection of beloved post-apocalyptic PC S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games are currently live in Japan, indicating that the atmospheric shooters could be headed to console for the very first time. Spotted by the ever-watchful Gematsu, pre-orders are currently available at Japanese retailers like Biccamera, Neowing, and Rakuten Book.

The Legends of the Zone Trilogy bundles together S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky, and S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat, and Gematsu theorizes that, given the timing, it will likely be officially announced during the Xbox Partner Preview live stream later today on 6th March. It's a strange, exciting new world where we get PS4 games out of such an event, but you won't hear any complaints from us.

Are you surprised to see a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. collection surface on console? Do you have any experience with the series, and if not, would you be interested in seeing what all the fuss is about? Let us know in the comments section below.
