Originally released on PC in 2022, V Rising is an action RPG where you play as a potentially tyrannical vampire. Your goal is to conquer the surrounding lands, build yourself a suitably gothic castle, and become a powerful creature of the night. Gameplay revolves around stripping the land of resources and engaging all manner of monsters in real-time combat.
As the headline implies, V Rising was a bit of a smash hit when it first launched on PC, attracting huge player numbers. It's been heavily updated since, and so this PS5 version should be worth keeping an eye on. It's coming at some point in 2024.

This is awesome, I remember watching this two years ago and wishing for a ps ver. but these games only come to consoles with direct investment from console owners like MS with Valheim.
Well looks like Sony secured V Rising and I will be there day 1.
Never heard of the PC game but it looked really cool tbh… better than what I’ve seen of Diablo 4 (although I’m no Diablo expert in fairness).
This looked pretty nice. I'd heard of the PC game but didn't know much about it.
Glad this is being ported. Belongs on PS5. Reminds me of Blood Omen from PS1 days.
Its one of those titles I brought because of the hype (the price definitely helped too)
But it never clicked for me.
I guess it was largely because I started in a PvP lobby and that really isnt for me. I didnt have a group of friends teaming up working together. (Its not fun when your constantly being targeted and your on your own)
I did say Id restart though when it left early access.............I wonder if the PS5 release will mark that occasion.
