Yeah doesn't say much when so many are digital gaming now.

Of course its going to be one of the best selling games i mean look at it. It looks bloody amazing and its a sure fire system seller. My mate got it day one and the sad git has taken the week off work just to sit on his arse and play it! He says its gorgeous to look at but is just a bit too similar in terms of game play to the first one. I hope he enjoys his week.

Story and gameplay were fantastic and definitely make it a GOTY contender, mine is still FF16 but man SM2 was so damn good!

@MagisterMagi Considering the success of GoW it would be strange to fire him. ND and Druckmann though we know have been having issues what with the Factions 2 thing being scrapped.

@Drago201 @DennisReynolds I mean he didn't direct the last GoW and nothing has been known about what he directed since 2019. Chances are high his project was canned. And no, Jaffee talks about an individual + a Project getting canned and Sony really only has 2 well known Directors anymore. Barlog and Druckmann

I didn't want to play it until I finished Ghost Signal but.....I caved and got it the day after launch. In my opinion it's Amazing . Great year for games. Happy gaming everyone.

The Spider-Man games have really long legs compared to most first party Sony games, and considering immediate competition with Mario Wonder it’s doing amazingly. Hopefully these amazing sales outclass Sony’s live service push so they go away from it

@dark_knightmare2 ND hasnt even teased a new Game this Gen which is 3 years old now. And instead only releases pointless cash grab Remakes and awful PC Ports. And Factions 2 is three years late now and basically canceled which caused the layoff of poor contractors and Devs. And Druckmann hasnt done anything against the Crunch at ND. Yeah, sound like hes doing a greaaaaat Job /s

@MagisterMagi actually he has done something about crunch the part 1 remake was made with no crunch and wasn’t a cash grab so grow up and actually have facts when you try to have grown up conversations. The released tlou part 2 three years ago and part one remake like a year ago and triple aaa games especially the kind ND makes take anywhere from 4 to 6 years.

@dark_knightmare2 Its a slightly better looking Port of a Game which was already remastered on PS4 and patched to 60FPs. Without any Level improvements. Or AI Upgrades. For 80€. Without any Upgrade way.

And I doubt ND doesnt Crunch now lol, there havent been any positive Reports.

@MagisterMagi my guy there were plenty of interviews during part ones development talking about how it was the first ND game made without crunch and the game looked way better than the ps4 remaster and it did have a.i. improvements and they did add details to the environments. Once again grow up and have some facts before having an adult conversation

@MagisterMagi just to get your facts straight - Druckmann co-produced the show, co-wrote every episode and directed one of them (almost every episode has a different director, which is not unusual for TV shows)

I've been on metacritic being nosey and there's a particular bunch giving the game a 0 for reasons that sound baffling while their profiles show StarField and RedFall at 10's. Weird that.

Personally I'm loving the game. A 10, I wouldn't say that high but it's solid and fun. I bought the game physically as I lean there where possible and didn't experience the installation issues that some have and so far no bugs for me either, must just be lucky. I still say Zelda will likely snatch GotY though even though Spider-Man in name alone carries itself.

Why would I pay more for a download than a physical copy. Its a joke £69.99 for download, 62.99 physical. Lol to the fools who keep doing it.

@Axelay71 as it's been said many times, you don't have to pay £69.99 when you can get psn top up cards for far less than that. But if you prefer physical for other reasons, more power to you.

@naruball I get that but not everyone is going to buy psn cards. They want gamers to go digital but download prices are ridiculous. Older games like Returnal is much more to download than buying a physical copy

@Axelay71 I know, I know. I'm right there with ya; I'm just saying there is an option for people who want it. I know most won't, though and that's how Sony keeps making all that profit (and why I find lay offs ridiculous).

Mine was £50 with game collections great offer. Digital prices are a joke

Game still not downloaded past 36%,hoping Sony can manage to patch it as it seems to have happened to a lot of people in EU but guessing if it's a manufacturing fault I'm buggered.....really not amused
