PS Plus Essential Games for April 2023 Available to Download Now

For some reason I got the notification that Anodyne was also included in PS+ 🤷🏻 I also cant add Sackboy to my Libary

Just keep getting a something went wrong notification when trying to add these to my library.

@Rangers420 @Magnus_Selene just added all 3 to my library with no issues. It happens every once and a while not being able to add games to library from essential but it should still be available to you with your subscription

@Beerheadgamer82 Sackboy gives me a "Content cannot be loaded" error. The "Add to Libary" issnt even there

@Magnus_Selene try again later today. Have you never purchased Sackboy digitally or physically yet

Sackboy is good (if not up to the standards of the LBP series) though I'm still stumped how and where multiplayer exists? I think I read it was just some levels and not the full game itself?

No idea about the others - might check them out but can't say I'm fussed.

Already own sack boy but I plan to download it and then sell / trade in my physical copy.

I've actually done that with quite a few games in the past.

It's a decent game but it's one that I wouldn't lose any sleep over not being able to play it again if ever I let my subscription expire.

Don't forget to add the 20+ free costumes to your Sackboy library.

@sanderson72 Every level can be played in multiplayer (up to 4 people) but there are a few optional ones that require at least 2 players (and tbh those are the most fun). Maybe that's why you were under the impression that it's not the entire game.

Finally a game I actually want - Sackboy.

I hate when I read these articles too early in the morning. I try to claim the Plus games to my library, then realize that I have to wait a few more hours for them to unlock in my time zone. 🙃

Great games, though it makes me a little sad that Sackboy is a freebie so soon. It tells me that it's seen as a failure and it might be the last we ever see of Sackboy.

@Impossibilium I actually like that because I almost always forget to claim the previous month and it allows me one more frenzied chance to grab them before they're over. Almost missed some good ones from March. Also, there was Battlefield. lol

@NEStalgia It's been 2.5 years - I'm not sure if that's "too soon".
However tbf we know the game didn't do great on PC.

@Voltan How long did it take Knack 2 to appear on Plus? That might be an omen.

@Zeke68 33 costumes... My email notifications was near blowing up. Still don't understand, why they are all separate and placed on store, while they could be implemented into patch...

Anyway, Tails of Iron is more bombastic then I thought. That game was in my trigger from release, but still somewhere around corner. Hollow Knight was say... not bad... but this is perfect platformer.

@NEStalgia Haha, yeah, that’s one advantage I suppose. I have a bad memory as well, but when I see the Push Square article I immediately open the PlayStation app on the same device so I don’t forget for a whole month — which is entirely possible. 😆

So I added Sackboy to my library, but now the Digital Deluxe Edition is locked out for me. It says I can't buy it because I already "own" it. I thought they changed PS Plus so that you could buy games even if you have them on Plus?

@Orpheus79V I think you can buy it next month when they switch Plus games. Happend to me a few months ago so I think it's how it works now.

Sadly I think MM will still be trying to make Dreams happen through the end of PS7 at this point.... Someday they'll make it happen, and they'll build a complete Knack 3 inside it and it will be glorious!
