Dead Cells' nostalgic Return to Castlevania DLC is finally here, and we got a suitably epic launch trailer to get us all gothed up and ready for action.
Return to Castlevania is Dead Cells' fourth paid expansion (and the most expensive at $10). Punters will be venturing into two new randomly generated biomes based on the outskirts and inner sanctum of Dracula's Castle.
There are 14 weapons to collect, 20 outfits to dress up in, more than 51 original Castlevania tracks, and 12 more reimagined in Dead Cells' distinctive audio style. That's without mentioning the new storyline with Richter Belmont and Alucard, any of the adapted boss encounters, or the secret Richter Mode, either.

I just finished live-streaming this for 4 hours on my YouTube channel and am forcing myself to go to sleep otherwise I’ll stay up all night and play it. This is so freakin good. I am a lifelong Castlevania fan since the original NES and this feels like a Castlevania roguelite. Totally worth the price!
i remember the other DLC was 'early, mid and late-game' - anyone know what this is ? I ask because I am probably mid-game now ... and not sure whether to buy immediately, or need to get further first ...
Got it for my steam deck. Just totally forgot how good Dead cells is though.
Playing on the deck with the higher frame rates is much better than the Switch....
I hope they bunfle all the dlc together for a bargain price. This game is awesome but there has been a lot of dlc added and its expensive to buy one at a time.
@elhozzo You start it from the first zone, its pretty easy to find as well.
@Adaminoregon All together its less then 20 quid.
I've been hearing nothing but good things about this game and the recent DLC.
Planning to buy it once I see the complete edition on sale for $15 USD or cheaper.
