Tekken 8 Tekken World Tour

Tekken World Tour 2022 comes to a close this weekend with its Global Finals in Amsterdam — and you know what that (probably) means! Not only are we going to be treated to a top-notch professional Tekken 7 tournament, we're (again, probably) going to get some new info on Tekken 8.

The Tekken team has a long history of dropping news and trailers at the end of major fighting game events, so we're fully expecting there to be something during this weekend's event.

Up until now, we've had a small glimpse of Tekken 8's gameplay, and we've had a small number of returning characters confirmed, including Jin, Kazuya, King, Paul, Law, Jack, and Lars. We've also been teased with the return of Jun. We could certainly see more character reveals in the very near future, so start placing your bets now.

Anyway, the Global Finals — and the preceding Last Chance Qualifier tournament (LCQ for short) — will be livestreamed on the official Tekken Twitch channel. The show begins with the aforementioned LCQ, on Saturday the 4th February at 12:30 AM Pacific / 3:30AM Eastern / 9:30AM Central Europe / 8:30AM UK.

Then, the Global Finals tournament is on Sunday the 5th February at 9AM Pacific / 12PM Eastern / 6PM Central Europe / 5PM UK.

Will you be tuning in? If not, be safe in the knowledge that we'll be covering any news or announcements right here on Push Square. In the meantime, get ready for the next battle in the comments section below.
