Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot may be two years old, but that isn't stopping Bandai Namco from splashing the cash on a big marketing push for the game's new season of DLC. The Bardock: Alone Against Fate expansion releases this Friday alongside Kakarot's PS5 version (which is a free upgrade if you already own the title on PS4).
This DLC is the first of three brand new expansions that are being added to the action RPG. You'll need to buy the game's Season Pass 2 if you want to get stuck in.
Anyway, Bardock's got a new trailer, which we've embedded above. It's a suitably dramatic one as Goku's fallen father decides to stand against the tyrannical Frieza. The DLC's promising some large-scale battles, plus what seems to be an opportunity to explore Saiyan civilisation.

Got the game on sale last year and never played it, so was thrilled to hear that this was on the way!

I’m not really interested in the dlc as I imagine it will retread the anime.
It would be interesting if they went the route of time traveller Bardock & showed how he was the reason Frieza became so afraid of the Saiyan race.
Trailer was hype. Hoping this leads to a what if scenario where Bardock actually wins.
