Warzone 2.0 is currently the shooter de jure, setting a new benchmark for polish and AAA fidelity in the now-familiar battle royale genre. As a free-to-play title, and one bearing the Call of Duty moniker, it was always going to attract a massive player base, and publisher Activision has confirmed that Warzone 2.0 drew in more than 25 million players in its first five days alone.
It's a pretty impressive feat, and perhaps we shouldn't be surprised, considering we've been unable to tear ourselves away from the game (the new Escape From Tarkov-like game mode, DMZ, in particular). It hasn't been all smooth sailing, though, with an invisibility glitch and some Battle Pass chicanery causing players a measure of consternation.

Warzone 2.0 is really good and its only going to get better. Not sure about those figures though as it was practically unplayable for the first 2 days so i doubt there was that many people playing. Being able to log in is not the same as actually being in a match..
I haven’t played DMZ yet but I did a few matches of BR Solos.
It’s definitely an upgrade from WZ 1.0.
I need people to actually play with in a squad. But none of my friends really like COD like I do.

Amazing game, really enjoying the changes but surprised stress testing the servers wasn't up there as a priority. They knew it was going to be hugely popular off the back of 1.0 and the MW game release, it's got better over recent days but the first few days were far from smooth.
Played a match on solo last night, just cant get into battle royal for some reason, i just find it a bit boring a lot of nothing for ages then get killed lol. Might give it a proper go over xmas time to try and get into it.
Warzone 2.0 is awesome but Activision and Infinity Ward is making the same mistake they made with MW 2019. They are marketing Warzone2 more than MW2 and already even merged their logo. They promised that it will be shown as a separate game in the launcher
@VivianXD2464 if they separate warzone from COD then that’ll overshadow COD since the franchise would’ve been on its deathbed if it wasn’t for warzone .
