Hot off the heels of Resident Evil 4 remake's first public showing, a gorgeous Collector's Edition of the game has been revealed, containing all kinds of RE-related goodies. In addition, there is a digital Deluxe Edition of the game, which can be pre-ordered now.
Less flashy but undoubtedly serviceable, pre-ordering the Standard Edition gets you the game and the "exclusive “Attaché Case: Gold” and “Charm: Handgun Ammo” in-game items.
The Deluxe Edition will set you back $69.99 or £62.50 and comes with everything that the Standard is packing, along with some additional tasty digital tidbits, including:
- A set of Casual and Romantic costumes for Leon and Ashley
- Both Hero and Villain costumes and visual filters for Leon
- The Sentinel Nine and Skull Shaker deluxe weapons
- The Treasure Map: Expansion, which unlocks additional treasures for players to unearth through the game
- A pair of cosmetic Sporty Sunglasses
- The ability to swap the remake's soundtrack for that of the original Resident Evil 4
Finally, that fancy Collector's Edition comes with everything listed above and the following physical keepsakes. It can all be yours for the princely sum of just $249.99 or £223.30.

I would love that statue, but it will probably be very small and not worth that amount of money. You're cheaper of buying those things separate.

Really want it but can't afford it so I'll go with the deluxe edition for the extra weapons, costumes & the original soundtrack swap
Yeah the CE is sold out. I've resigned myself to never being able to buy another CE ever again. I think the scalping crisis during COVID with the PS5 and the idiots who bought from them have shown too many people that there's money to be made from people who are willing to pay double the RRP.
GAME are jumping the gun with the collectors edition of late, this went live around 2.am this morning..
@Martijn87 I have the one for RE2 remake, the whilst it's a good height, the quality could be better.
I might pick up the vanilla version at a steep discount. In the meantime if I want an RE4 fix, I'll play the PS4 remaster.

Collector's Edition already sold out, but I was always going to just buy the Standard Edition so it doesn't affect me personally.
Man, the beauty of steelbooks shouldn't be limited to that price bracket
