GYLT

Google Stadia is dead, and all of its games and services will be gone by the end of January 2023. The news was not all that surprising — Google has a habit of killing its own projects — but it brings up the possibility of some exclusive titles being lost forever. Experiences like Outcasters, PixelJunk Raiders, and Pac-Man: Mega Tunnel Battle are stranded on the streaming service.

However, one game that doesn't look like it'll go the way of the dodo with Google Stadia is GYLT, the horror game from RiME developer Tequila Works. The studio's founder took to Twitter to say: "GYLT port confirmed for other platforms."

Metacritic would describe the game's critical reception as "mixed or average" after it achieved a rating of 68 back at launch in November 2019. "Its unique world-building and stylish audio and visuals keep afloat a tired gameplay suite, making it a worthwhile time for genre fans, especially those embarking on their first horror story," said GamesRadar.
