Earlier this week, SEGA revealed the ending theme for Sonic Frontiers. It's a new track from Japanese rock band One Ok Rock named Vandalize, and it has big mid-2000s energy. Now, the publisher has also revealed the game's main theme song, and it has a similar vibe. Give it a listen above.

This track is called I'm Here, and has several credits to its creation:

  • Vocals & Lyrics by Merry Kirk-Holmes (To Octavia)
  • Composed & Arranged by Tomoya Ohtani
  • Strings Arranged by Takahito Eguchi
  • Guitars & Programming by MEG
  • Strings by Muroya Strings

Curiously, we've yet to hear any tunes from Crush 40, the band which almost exclusively makes music for Sonic games. It's possible that SEGA is trying something new with this game's OST; Frontiers is, after all, a big departure from previous entries with its open zone structure and mysterious narrative. We're sure the band will get its opportunity to shine — perhaps in the cyber space stages, which seem to be more traditional.

Anyway, what do you think of all this new Sonic music? Turn it up in the comments section below.
