Capcom has announced plans to air another Resident Evil Showcase in the near future.
Following its presentation at Tokyo Game Show, the publisher stated it would have more Resi franchise announcements and updates to make next month, with a showcase scheduled for October. All we know about the presentation is that we'll learn more about Resident Evil 4, the remake announced earlier this year.
We recently learned it will shuffle onto PS4 as well as PS5, but clearly the publisher is keen to show us a bit more in a couple of weeks. We're sure the showcase will feature a little more than just one game, though, so fans should be in for a treat. Hopefully the dates and times will be revealed soon.

Why the hell would anyone care about resident evil updates on switch when they just wanna keep pumping out these idiotic cloud versions?
Always had a love hate relationship with RE4 not because the game is no fun or crap but because it's not scary survival horror enough and more of an action shooter rather than an actual horror game. It does have a very mild tension throughout but that's about it. I am very excited for its remake because Capcom now have the perfect opportunity to drastically up the horror while still maintaining the mild tension the original has. I do like these Capcom mostly RE focused shows, gets me excited and kinky. Highly doubt they will but if they announce they're doing a Code Veronica remake I'll bust a nut in excitement
RE4 has always been at the top of my list, sure I’ll buy it a10th time!
Why do devs keep doing this. Just show it at TGS.
Now people will tune in and they'll show the same things for a 3rd time (the other news were done earlier this year already) with a new RE4 trailer that shows 2 new minutes of footage. It's tiresome, to be honest.
Resident Evil was my favorite series from 1996 - late 2009. Then it dropped in quality like a car driving over a cliff. It wasn't until the remakes of 2 and 3 that I started to take note again... but I'm over the phase as well.

@Stevey_Mac @Beerheadgamer82 @Areus Code Veronica remake being announced then would be amazeballs...so expect them to show off nothing more than Resident Evil Village DLC and Resident 4 Remake lol.
That way if anything else is revealed it'll be a happy surprise...for me personally I want them to do a new remake of RE1 using the current RE Engine or Unreal Engine 5. Also RE0 too just to be thorough.
Yes I already know about the GameCube versions that were ported to PS4, but that's not good enough for me.
