Tokyo Game Show 2022 is kicking off with a bang, and we were treated to our first look at gameplay for the newly revealed and already eagerly anticipated Like a Dragon: Ishin! This one is coming to PS5 and PS4 on 21st February (22nd in Asian territories), although it is unlikely that deputy editor Robert Ramsey will be able to wait that long.
Like a Dragon: Ishin! continues the Yakuza (have to remember we aren't calling the series that any longer) franchises penchant for over-the-top action, passionate and melodramatic storytelling, and wacky and wild minigames.
Previously, we saw Ishin's Ambush trailer, and the announcement trailer as well, of course. Are we on the cusp of a golden age of Yakuza Like a Dragon? Seems like it. Thank the heavens above with us in the comments section below.

I've never played any Yakuza or Like a Dragon games, but this trailer grabbed me. It looks like Dynasty Warriors with story. I'm really missing some solid beat'em up...
Like i wasn't hyped enough already, this trailer makes it look even more amazing. The great thing is they didnt just simply remade the original, they added characters and more stuff from the games that released after the original Ishin. This looks like it;s going to be endless entertainment again like all the other games in the series, just can't wait for this.
Want this so bad. Curious about the weapon crafting and soldier skills.
