Cuphead, the widely loved but deviously difficult indie title, is five years old today. To celebrate, it's soon to get a physical release on all platforms. Announced today, developer Studio MDHR is partnering with iam8bit to bring the plucky teacup and his ceramic chums to physical retail.
The boxed version will include the base game as well as the Delicious Last Course expansion. Unfortunately, there are no further details as of now, unless you count the cover art:

As long as it actually hits proper retail and not only sale off of one of these physical medium cutthroats, where I can expect to pay a but load for shipping.

Usually i go for physical copie.but i already have cuphead and all the dlcs digital.one of the best games ever made.that art style is amazing.word up son

I’d be all over it if I didn’t suck at hard games. I don’t feel satisfaction beating a hard game or level after several attempts, only aggravation. Just me, of course. Too bad, because I love the art style and sound.
@Nancyboy Amen. I knew this game wouldn’t be for me after reading reviews….but it looks so cool. Check out the Netflix show if u can. That’s the closest I will get to the Cuphead universe….
no ps5 physical version sux
Despite having platinumed Cuphead AND the Delicious Last Course DLC, you can bet your bottom dollar that I'm absolutely getting this game physically on both PS4 & Switch, no hesitation whatsoever.

@Flaming_Kaiser Sometimes their releases get sold on Best Buy, hopefully that happens here too.
@KidBoruto I really arent a fan of 8bit i hear a lot of complaints and if you have PayPal its a lot easier.
@Flaming_Kaiser My point was that if Best Buy sells iam8bit releases, you can pay for them with PayPal.
Best Buy does have PayPal as an option still, last time I looked.
