Exoprimal remains one of the most out-there concepts we have heard for a video game in quite some time: You play as an Exofighter, the pilot of a mechanised combat suit, and you must fight through the hordes of prehistoric monsters unleashed by a sinister AI known as Leviathan in order to find a way to destroy it. It looks completely insane, and we can't wait to jump in. The PvPvE title is coming to PS5 and PS4 in 2023.
We'd be lying to you if we said we had a better idea of what was going on after watching the above trailer, but quite honestly, the narrative here is really just set dressing for the multiplayer mayhem at the game's core. The main mode is called Dino Survival, in which two teams of five players must race against each other to complete objectives, and avoid the various cold-blooded monsters pouring in through mysterious vortexes.
What do you think of Exoprimal so far? Are you planning on putting together a team and starting another extinction event? Let us know in the comments section below.

It's not Dino Crisis and it should have been. No intention of playing this. Honestly, I think my time of caring about modern gaming is coming to an end.
@Uncharted2007 I swear there trolling us with this they know alot of people want a Dino crisis reboot & they decided to do this instead they can't be that tone deaf lol
@Uncharted2007 I've looked at your recent comments and all I see is negativity, if you never have anything nice to say why even bother posting? I hope you seek the help you need to have a more positive outlook on life, I know life can suck, believe me when I say that, I mean no malice in this reply. In the past I have made negative comments but have learnt that they only invite unconstructive arguments that don't improve anybody's life and all it does is make you sound like a baby that is crying because the toy isn't the one you wanted even though the other children in the preschool are enjoying that toy. It's this mentality of "If I can't enjoy this then no one can" that can come of as annoying for people to read, that when people see your profile they see you making a comment and then think "O, great what negative comment is this person making this time". I'm not telling you to stop, you do you, I just don't get why people like you even bother with comments like this. Have a good day ๐
This game looks nuts. Not something Iโd play personally. Would have liked to see Dino Crisis myself
"Clever girl..."
SHOOT HER! SHOOOOT HERRR!
Looks freakin awesome to be fair ๐ big EDF and Lost Planet 2 vibes, apart from the obvious Dino Crisis influence.
I haven't played Dino crisis so I guess I'm looking at this for what it is as oppose to what it isn't. And I think it looks like a fun time. Very crazy and not at all grounded! Not sure if I'll be buying it, suppose when it comes out and the general mood surrounding it will determine that. Next year looks stacked much like this year.
@GorosBat Sure... no malice at all... ๐คจ
Not a fan of the way the modern industry has adopted a method to deliver unfinished products at full price. This is the type of game that falls under that premise. It will be unfinished and it will be chalk full of microtransactions. I can only hope that when Instinction finally releases that the focus is on a great game and not squeezing every dime they can from the consumer.
Criticism is allowed. Hell, I'm even polite about it unlike a majority on the internet.
But yeah... you do you and enjoy being taken advantage of.
@Uncharted2007 "Unfinished" games in need of patches or games with relatively little content on release have been a thing since the beginning of gaming though. It's just that years ago it was unlikely you would even get a patch or any new content ๐... And now we have a better delivery system for patches and content thanks to the introduction of, and much improved, internet infrastructure.
Of course there are developers and publishers who disappoint with predatory microtransactions and buggy, content-light games on release, and we statistically encounter more of these now due to the gaming industry being larger and more exposed than ever before, but I really think there's an overblown, negative mindset towards modern gaming in some. I dare say we have it miles better with way more options as consumers than we ever did previously. Not to mention we receive more free games and content than ever before.
Voice the potential issues you might have with this game but it isn't even out yet so I would avoid claiming it's "unfinished" and writing it off already!
@Nf157 Same thoughts here, but I do feel for the Dino Crisis fans that have been begging for a new entry.
@Loamy Would love to see how many games will still be playable as with something like the older consoles in a decade of two when you cant get those patches anymore.
The digital age has shown us that its not here for preservation with the amount of unlistings making games totally unavailable.
@Flaming_Kaiser this was half a year ago so some of my thoughts may differ a little but yeah, I'd say when it comes to online games like Exoprimal it's a little harder to criticise any patch releases considering it's online nature (of which I did actually quite enjoy in the beta!) However, I'd agree that there have been many examples to suggest that preservation in the gaming industry is pretty damn patchy in some areas to say the least - pun intended ๐
We still have it pretty damn great for current releases though and post-release content. Obviously it's just what will happen with it all in the future that remains a concern, as you say.
@Loamy I always get nerfous/annoyed when i download a patch bigger then the actual thing on the disc.
I would love to see a new Resident Outbreak when you had the option of a offline campaing and playing online coop.
For me the future is strange instead of adding stuff they are stripping them also a weak thing about the game is using Dino Crisis as a marketing stunt.
Let's be honest everyone thought Dino Crisis when they saw the crappy Regina lookalike. ๐คช
