Shovel Knight Dig is an action platformer developed by Yacht Club Games and the next entry in the impeccable Shovel Knight series. It has been confirmed (Thanks, Gematsu) for a PlayStation release, "at a later date".
When the dastardly Drill Knight destroys the tranquillity of Shovel Knight's idyllic camp, he takes up his Shovel Blade and sets off in hot pursuit! This time, the adventure features meticulously crafted level segments that are randomised and stitched together on the fly, ensuring no two playthroughs are ever the same.

I no longer subscribe to Apple Arcade, so I’ll either grab this on Switch or wait and play on PS5 later down the line.
I mean, it's Yacht Club. Is there really any question as to how great this is going to be?
Always wanted the play the original Shovel Knight, but the price is to rich for my blood for that type of game.
@Ken_Kaniff It’s VERY worth the price of entry. I was hesitant too, but if you get the treasure trove (on sale) you will get your money’s worth. It’s a fantastic game!
@Ear_wiG agree great game (s). Also the soundtrack is amazing.
@The_Pixel_King I'm subscribed to Apple Arcade but will still buy it on the Switch, the perfect platform to play it on imho.
@Ear_wiG Yea 40 is just to much for me, and it never seems to go on sale these days. Im mad at myself because I feel like it was on Plus years ago and I didn't add it to my library at the time. Could be wrong though.
@Ken_Kaniff It is a bit steep for a 2d retro platformer, for sure, but I still warrant that it’s worth it since it includes the original and all the DLC. Hope you can find it on sale at some point!
