Outcast is one of those cult-classic games a relatively small number of people love, but you never really hear about. A pioneer of open world design back in the late 90s, it was critically acclaimed at the time, and more than 20 years later, we're now getting a sequel. Outcast 2: A New Beginning was announced almost a year ago, and THQ Nordic has just released a brand new trailer.

In it we see a bit of gameplay, which highlights protagonist Cutter Slade and his jetpack and wingsuit, allowing him to get around the world of Adelpha quickly. We also see plenty of variety in the environments, and the open world looks to be pretty massive. You will be able to craft unique weapons from various modular pieces, and combat looks fairly zippy.

We're light on major details, and still have no PS5 release date, but what do you make of Outcast 2 from this new trailer? Blast off in the comments section below.
