The Entropy Centre is a mind-bending first-person puzzler that is slated to launch on PS5 and PS4 later in 2022, and today we got a good look at the kind of gameplay experience on offer.

The closest parallel to The Entropy Centre is, of course, the Portal franchise, but whereas those games deal with portals, this one is all about time manipulation. Guided by a cheerful, talking gun named Astra, you must make your way through a series of devious challenges in order to escape from a mysterious, dilapidated facility, and possibly reverse the apocalypse in the process.

It's full of the kind of snarky science humour you might expect, a surprising amount of action, and the puzzles seem suitably tough. The Entropy Centre looks like it is going to scratch a very specific kind of itch for a specific kind of player when it does launch, and hopefully its sooner rather than later.
