What Remains of Edith Finch, the beloved narrative adventure game, is looking more likely than ever to be heading to PS5 with a native port.
PlayStation Game Size, a Twitter account that scrapes listings from the PS Store, has shared this version of the title, more or less confirming its existence. There are no further details — all this tells us is that the game is indeed coming to PS5, and a listing has now hit the digital store on the backend.
This follows news of a Taiwanese age rating also outing the port earlier this month. All we need now is for publisher Annapurna Interactive to seal the deal with official confirmation.
It's going under the radar somewhat, but the indie label has its very own showcase event lined up for tomorrow, Thursday 28th July. In all likelihood, this will be one of the announcements made during the broadcast. If so, we don't have long to wait for more information, like any visual enhancements or PS5-specific features.

I remember playing this one when it was on PS Plus. Short and interesting game that has some parts that hit you like a truck right in the feels.
I really hope Annapurna is publishing Giant Sparrow's next game, and it's revealed tomorrow alongside this.
Coming back, for sure. Great game/experience.
Sony really dropped the ball when it let this game go
It's a great game but honestly what's the point of a PS5 release? It runs just fine on PS4 and is hardly a taxing game that is going to get a huge bump on new hardware.
Hopefully the ps5 version will have a platinum.
@themightyant I agree completely. That said, any excuse to play this game again and get the trophies again is just fine by me. Plus who doesn’t like some ray tracing?
@glassmusic Ray Tracing is a jerk. Whenever he comes round my house he turns all the lights on with no regard for my electricity bill.
Had this sitting in my backlog for awhile now, hopefully will be a free upgrade to ps5
This BETTER be a free upgrade or have a path for very cheap upgrade, otherwise the developers are extremely greedy and only care about money and don't care about the people who play games. (I'm joking and acting like the disgusting people who think they DESERVE Persona 5 for free upgrade on PlayStation 5.)
@Enigk Let alone what he’s doing to the planet!
One of my games of the generation. Outstanding.
Would love a platinum on this
Every moment in this game is still stuck firmly in my memory. There are some incredibly well-conceived, emotional twists and turns throughout and the whole narrative just builds and builds until that melancholic ending.
I really dislike the term as it's hardly descriptive of such an obtuse genre but this is what one would describe as the ultimate "walking sim". Easily in my top 10 gaming moments of all time.
@DorkyDeviant Same here, I'll be upset if there's no upgrade path. They better not pull a Persona 5.
I've been meaning to play this for ages but keep getting distracted by other games.
@KidBoruto you didn't understand I was joking and making fun of selfish people that say that?
@themightyant because money.
@DorkyDeviant My bad, was in a hurry and skimmed thru your comment!
