GTA Online PS5 PlayStation 5 1

If you’ve ever played GTA Online, then you’ll know all about the Oppressor Mk 2. The frighteningly mobile flying motorcycle, complete with homing missiles, has been a source of frustration in Los Santos for years – but it’ll be getting nerfed as part of an impending update. In fact, Rockstar is actually cowing to the demands of players, announcing that it will finally allow fans to launch Sell Missions in Invite Only lobbies, meaning you’ll be able to go about your business without griefers setting fire to all your hard work.

While there’s no date attached to these long-awaited improvements, there is new content around the corner. Beginning in “just a few short weeks”, Rockstar promises a new update which will “expand upon the Criminal Careers of Executive, Biker, Gunrunner, and Nightclub Owner – alongside a set of Contact Missions that presents the opportunity to be sworn in as a special IAA field operative to investigate a budding criminal conspiracy”. Sounds good!

Perhaps most importantly of all, the developer is increasing GTA$ payouts across the board. “With such a wide range of things to do in GTA Online we believe that increasing these payouts will allow people greater freedom to do what they like and get what they want faster,” a Rockstar Newswire update explains.

It sounds like Bodyguards, Associates, and MC Members will see the biggest boosts, encouraging co-op play – but there’ll also be improvements to the payouts on Races, Adversary Modes, and Heist Finales. With so much content in the game these days, this sounds like a welcome and necessary alteration – although if you’re looking to get a headstart before the upgrade arrives, you can check out our How to Make Money Fast guide.
