Lost Epic is a hardcore 2D Soulslike with silky smooth combat and an arresting art style. We got a new trailer today showing the game in action, and it's available now on PS5 and PS4.
Featuring incredible artwork by artist Namie, Lost Epic tells the story of a devastating war between gods and humanity. You create an avatar and play the role of God Slayer, a deity-defying knight on a mission to destroy the Pantheon of Six.
From a gameplay perspective, fans of Salt and Sanctuary or Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir will feel right at home here, and Lost Epic features a flexible skill tree that will allow players to craft a build that complements their play style.

I need to beat Sat and Sacrifice still but this look awesome!
This game looks awesome..i love my 2d scrolling hack and slashers..i'm as of late a bit of a sucker for really cool art styles in games too..may have to add this to my ever expanding library.

Looks cool then the dreaded words souls-like why does every action game have to be souls-like. So this generation is remakes, remasters, Sequels and Souls-like!
Any word on a physical release?
@redapt same here..i looked to add it this morning before i set off for work but could not see it anywhere..searching for via search bar gave zero results too..pah! Pushsquare you teasers...
@bindiana 'souls like' is an instant turn off and/ or disappointment to me too. I think some games use the tag for marketing as it's popular, but it may only have superficial similarities to a souls game. Either way, it's ubiquitousness is annoying.
@bindiana add "Rogue-Lite" in with that lot too.
@Northern_munkey It's available on Steam though, so maybe it will be added to the store later today. Costs 20.99€.
@bindiana I was just going to say game looks interesting, but if it has tedious Souls gameplay I just completely lose interest.

Spent a couple of hours playing this (i only intended to have a quick look) and after only a short time i can hand on heart say this is the best of the 2d souls type games i've tried and i've played quite a few of them...for some reason it reminds me of hades...this is 2 games in a week i would have passed over if not for pushsquare bringing them to my attention..thanks guys 👍

@AFCC the other game is raji...not the best game i've played but i am really enjoying it too..i love the animation and the story is well told..
@Northern_munkey Ah I played that a bit on Gamepass but I only tried it for 20 or so minutes! Maybe I'll give it another go
