Twisted Metal

Update (3/6/22): We've already heard who will be providing the voice for Sweet Tooth in the Twisted Metal TV series, but who will portray the character physically? We now have our answer. As reported by Deadline, Joe Seanoa — better known as AEW wrestler Samoa Joe — will fill the boots of the maniacal killer clown.

Incidentally, Samoa Joe is providing the voice for King Shark in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, so it appears he's diving into the realm of games with some pretty big roles.

Original Story: Peacock's Twisted Metal TV adaptation seems to be picking up speed; we've been gradually learning more about the cast over the last few weeks. A while back, Anthony Mackie was confirmed to be involved, and more recently we've heard about Thomas Haden Church and Stephanie Beatriz joining the cast, as well as Neve Campbell. While these actors are all playing lesser known characters, the one question on everyone's mind has been who will play Sweet Tooth? The answer is actor and comedian Will Arnett — at least, his voice, anyway.

Yes, Arnett officially joins the project, with Variety reporting he'll voice the infamous ice cream truck-driving clown. He's also credited as an executive producer. "A lover of chaos, this majestic rage-filled killer dons an ever-smiling clown mask and uses “Lost Vegas” as his own personal kill-ground, all while he drives his infamous doomsday ice cream truck". Yep, that's our Sweet Tooth. There's no word yet on who will be the physical actor for the role.

Arnett is a pretty accomplished voice actor, having provided his rattling tones to Batman in the LEGO Movies, BoJack Horseman, and Dragon Lord in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, to name a few.
