So, how many of you use PS5's Share Factory Studio? We'll be honest, we nearly forgot it exists, but it's actually a neat way of jazzing up your gameplay clips before you post them online. Today, Sony has brought it back to the forefront with an all new feature: Bits.

In a nutshell, Bits encompass a new way to use Share Factory that's more straightforward and easy to use, aimed at short clips you want to share on your socials. All you need to do is pick a template, drop in your gameplay capture, and you've got yourself a Bit.

It looks as though there's an emphasis on meme-style overlays, but you can also apply your choice of emojis, stickers, text, and even voiceover. Another neat feature is the ability to draw doodles with your finger using the DualSense's touch pad.

Your saved Bits will sync up with the PlayStation app on your smart device, so you can share them with the world from there too. Perhaps most importantly, Bits will be updated regularly, adding in new options over time so you're not short of inspiration. It seems like a smart idea and a neat way to encourage more PS5 users to share gameplay moments. There's more info on the PS Blog if you're interested.
