Avatar Frontiers of Pandora PS5

While many major games are being pushed back into 2023, it's starting to look like 2022 will be sent off with a bang. God of War Ragnarok is heavily rumoured to be releasing in November, and we were meant to get confirmation of that today, though it wasn't to be. However, that's not the only title lining up a November release date — that is, according to one report.

Tom Henderson, a fairly reliable reporter with some inside information, wrote about all the Ragnarok business over on eXputer, but he brings up a couple of other games. Towards the end of his report, Henderson mentions the upcoming Need for Speed title — allegedly subtitled Unbound — as well as Ubisoft's Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. He matter-of-factly states their intended release dates; NFS is targeting 4th November, while the Avatar title is allegedly launching on 18th November.

Unfortunately, there's no way to know if these dates are legitimate beyond Henderson's word, and it's always worth remembering that delays can happen anyway. Still, the brazenness of just stating these dates in an unrelated report is curious at the very least.

We will probably learn more about both games soon, if they are indeed coming before the holidays, so let's wait and see what happens. Are you excited for the new Need for Speed and Avatar titles? Does November seem about right to you? Tell us in the comments section below.
