Activision Blizzard is finally getting things moving with Overwatch 2. The free-to-play hero shooter sequel is now confirmed to release in October for PS5 and PS4 in early access, so we're just a few months away from giving it a shot. However, if you're really curious, you'll be interested to hear about its upcoming beta test.
Recently announced on social media, the Overwatch 2 beta will be coming to PC and consoles in the near future, including PlayStation:
Details are slim for the time being, but we do know that the beta will kick off from 28th June, and it'll include a new map and new hero, The Junker Queen. If you're interested in joining in, sign-ups for the beta are opening up tomorrow, 16th June, when more information will be shared.

nah , this is the game for me , people waited long enough . they better just be talking about the PvE portion of the game , multiplayer is done .
The first closed beta was terrible, it was pure chaos.

@SolaceCreed The changes they made, Doomfist as a tank, Orisa reworked. They tweaked the whole game so it is not so reliable on teamwork which resulted in total chaos in my opinion.

@nomither6 Well it is a result of abandoning the development in favor of OW2. Which was a suicide in these days of constant updates and new content in games like Fortnite and Apex. And it looks like OW2 isn't shaping very well, Twitch views dropped by 99% in just a week of beta start.
It is a shame, I played first game from the beta and first year it was absolute blast. Slowly the community got toxic af and balance went to sh....
