Today is Star Wars Day, because the date sounds like "may the force," which is something that characters in Star Wars say sometimes. It's pretty damn cool, and Disney celebrates this wordplay every year, promoting the beloved sci-fi franchise in all sorts of ways. One method is to hold a Star Wars game sale on the PS Store, while another is to sell you brand new DLC for the latest game, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.
Yes, today sees the arrival of two new character packs for the plastic platformer. First up is The Mandalorian Season 2 pack, which contains Ahsoka Tano, Boba Fett, Bo Katan, Fennec Shand, and Moff Gideon. The second DLC pack features characters from Star Wars: The Bad Batch, including Hunter, Wrecker, Tech, Crosshair, and Echo. You can check out these new minifigs in action in the above trailer, which also shows off other DLC such as Rogue One, Solo, and more.
The two new packs will set you back £2.49/$2.99 each, and are available now. Will you be nabbing these for your collection in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga? Whatever you do, don't tread on the darned things in the comments section below.

I like the game but you'd think a product meant to celebrate the entire series would have all the content day 1 instead of nickel and diming people for a couple MBs worth of data
PushSquare staff, hear me out. Do you guys want to do a little random selection of one fortunate european reader to offer my Deluxe Edition code? I was dumb and bought the dlc pass on day one without seeing the code that came with the game lol
@GorosBat yeah but this way they can sell another version down the line that includes Mando, Rogue One, Book of Fett and Obi Wan content! When theres profit to be had why gibe it away?

@GorosBat Technically none of the characters in the DLC are actually apart of the Skywalker Saga aka Episode 1-9 as that what the game covers, not any of the spin offs.
How about Boba Fett content so we can get Mando with the Darksaber please WB.
I think the cynicism about DLC with this game is overblown. If they were offering content packs it would be one thing, but a few extra characters that don't impact the gameplay are pretty minor.
@WavesOfActivity Agreed. For the effort that's been made, I think the price is more than fair, particularly in this day and age!
@WavesOfActivity Also its from spin off content, they haven't sold any of the characters from the Skywalker Saga itself. I bought the deluxe for the characters and i'm happy with them.
Completed the game 100% but haven’t got any of the dlc packs yet. Out of the 380 base characters I think I used about 7 of them (Boba Fett, Rey Skywalker, BB8, C3PO, Stormtrooper, Han Solo and one of the Ewoks). You can cleanup everything with just those characters.
I'd rather have brand new levels honestly...

@sanderson72 The Deluxe comes with the character pass that's why its deluxe.
