If you're looking forward to wacky tactical RPG Disgaea 6 Complete on PS5 or PS4, then you'll probably want to give this new trailer a watch. It's a pretty meaty video, clocking in at almost six minutes as the game's crazy characters give us an overview of how everything works. Even if you're not a Disgaea fan, this trailer should give you a good idea of what the series is all about.
Disgaea 6 is the latest entry in NIS' long lasting series. It originally launched on Nintendo Switch last year, but this Complete edition comes packaged with all the previously released DLC. Improved visuals and technical performance are selling points as well, for when the game hits in just under a couple of months.

When you indirectly call your own vanilla game "incomplete" lol
Joking aside Disgaea games are pretty fun but I can't stand the grinding.
Okay, the 8x speed and auto battle seem so good I might actually play it.
@RawnDawn. I thought the auto battle was fantastic on the switch version where I would set it to grind when I was making food, which led to leaving it on when I popped out for an hour to walk the dog..........which led to leaving it on when I was in work.......then when I was sleeping.
I thought what the hell am I doing! I regret using it at all as it killed post game for me (which on is probably a good thing as it allows me to move onto other games)
As a fan of the Disgaea series, I just could not get into D6 at all. Sure the auto-battles and the speed up are nice, at the same time it just takes away from the game itself.
@SilentS
But isn't it optional you don't have to use it, if auto was the only option I could understand your point.
But it does look like it could be abused taking away from the game and making maybe to easy.
"Improved visuals and technical performance"
Pretty much what i was waiting for. Performance on the Switch demo was broken. Hopefully there is a PS5 or PC Demo
@suikoden I don't use them, but as I said, just cant seem to get into the game itself though. Honestly I cannot pinpoint why, might even be a combination of things: Being the Switch version, the 3D models, how the play style is in general. I ended up going back to the original first game and found that way more entertaining. Disappointing cause I really enjoyed all the other games in the series.
Auto battle is a bit of a turn off tbh. Even if it can be ignored, the fact that it is part of the game would probably cheapen it to me, I don't know, maybe I'm sounding a bit elitist but I'd feel silly ignoring a game approved feature even if it's one I dislike.
Looks like the best Disgaea yet. Still wish they'd kept the 2D sprites though.
