If you're aware of PS5, you're likely also aware of Astro Bot, the adorable robo-hero of Team Asobi's excellent 3D platformers. Debuting with PSVR's Astro Bot Rescue Mission, the character is probably better known for Astro's Playroom, the freebie game that comes pre-installed on every PS5. The little guy has quickly caught on as a cutesy mascot for PlayStation, and as with any popular character, there's now a collectable figurine up for grabs.

The Astro Nendoroid figure is now available for pre-order, and from where we're sitting, it's probably one of the best-looking in the collection. Nendoroids are uniformly short and chibi-like figures with oversized heads, and that fits perfectly with Astro Bot's regular look, meaning he's made the transition with almost no alterations to his design. He comes with three interchangeable face plates as well as a coin and feet thrusters, so you can pose him in various ways, too. As you can see in these images, he looks fantastic, and would make a handsome addition to your bookshelf. He's only 10cm tall, so there'll be room for him somewhere.

Priced at $63.99, the figurine is now up for pre-order, although the expected delivery date is still some way off; you won't receive your Astro Nendoroid until February next year.

Obviously, Astro's not the only PlayStation character to be turned into one of these figures — characters from Horizon, Assassin's Creed, Fortnite, Dragon Quest, Cyberpunk 2077, and much more are waiting to clutter your desk.
