In case you didn't know, PAX East is happening right now over in the United States, so we're a little detached over on the other side of the pond. Any announcements that might occur feel a little out of nowhere until we remember what's going down. Case in point: news of a brand new Tales from the Borderlands has just been unveiled.

Announced by 2K Games and Gearbox, there's very little information available right now ā€” we just know this thing exists. Whether this new title will be a direct sequel to the Telltale original or a separate adventure entirely is yet to be seen. As the above tweet says, it's an "all new" Tales from the Borderlands, which leads us to believe it's unlikely to be directly related to the previous title.

It's due out sometime this year, and that's basically everything to know right now. There's no word on platforms, story details, or characters ā€” our only hint is the single image. Randy Pitchford, speaking at PAX, said the game will be shown off in more detail in the summer. It's exciting we'll be delving back into the more narrative-focused side of the looter shooter universe.
