The world is obsessed with super heroes at the moment, so it follows that we're getting all the movies and video games we can handle. Cue Warner Bros., which has just announced another one to get excited about: Wonder Woman.
Beyond this short teaser trailer, we know Monolith Productions is on dev duty here, the team behind Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War. We've been wondering what that studio's been up to. According to a press release, this is a single-player open world title, telling an original story for the Amazonian heroine.
There's no date attached, so this PlayStation 5 title is probably a ways off. Still, are you excited for Wonder Woman? Tell us in the comments section below.

I liked WW, but the movies have…slightly turned me off to the franchise.

The first Wonder Woman movie was good, we don't talk about the second one , so I'm really interested on how this will go.
A Wonder Woman game. This could be interesting since Batman is the main DC comic guy who usually get all the games. I’ll keep an eye out.
@Ralizah The official WB video’s description says it’s powered by the Nemesis system from the Mordor games too so this could be really interesting.
@nessisonett I expected something like that, given the developer, but it's good to have confirmation, considering the Nemesis system elements were the best part of the Mordor games. Gonna be cool having them integrated with an IP I actually like.
While it could still turn out crappy, it's a cool announcement, and helps to ease some of my disappointment with what Rocksteady has been busy with as of late.
This could potentially be epic! It doesn't have to be game of the decade, just make it an enjoyable experience like the Arkham games and we're good ✌️

Hopefully its open world and Diana is allowed to fly, very excited for this as i'm a massive Wonder Woman fan. Also really hope Gal Gadot's costume is in this.
This was the biggest surprise of the night. When the trailer started I rolled my eyes because I thought it was another boring Injustice game. Then as it paned out and said Monolith and said her name i was shocked...in a good way.
I didn’t like the nemesis system, nor the Mordor games, but playing as Wonder Woman would be epic. Although this is going from my experience with the older representations, haven’t seen the modern films.
This was one of those games I was meh over, I hope its good but I doubt I'll be picking it up full price im just a bit burnt out on super hero games at the moment
I'm torn on this I've been waiting for a DC hero other than Batman to get a high profile game for years and Wonder Woman is one of my favourites (didn't like her movies unfortunately) but I personally didn't care for the Mordor games so I really don't know how to feel about this

Big fan of the Wonder Woman IP and have been hoping it'd get a game. Unfortunately can't say I love the studio in charge of development.
Potentially interesting license,& good studio, though WB do like any excuse to cram in mtx...& nemesis system worked nicely in LOTR Middle Earth games, but not sure how it'll be adapted into superhero game!🤔 Hope it hasn't been crammed in to justify grindy mechanics & WB's copyrighting nemesis to prevent it being copied as a gameplay mechanic elsewhere.
