Football is back this week, with the season kick off pitting the Dallas Cowboys against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. And to mark the occasion, EA Sports is making Madden NFL 22 free-to-play across the PlayStation 5 and PS4. Starting 9th September through 12th September, you’ll be able to download the American football simulation and play for free, with no restrictions or limitations.
This means you’ll be able to start your own Franchise, build an Ultimate Team, and even take control of various fantasy college rosters in the Superstar KO mode. If you’re planning to take advantage of the free-to-play window, then we recommend you check out our Madden NFL 22 guide to help get you going. Who do you reckon’s going to win the Super Bowl this season?

This will be a great time to check if its as bad as people say!
@FixMadden21 if it is looks like someone has a username to update.
I heard the game was quite bad Madden 22 and that EA should lose the license because they put in no effort whatsoever.
Raiders fan here, not got much hope for us, not enough improvements... but love football season!!!
Do we know if trophies are unlockable with the free weekend?
@iSmokeWii They were with the EA Play version, so there's a good chance they will be.
@captainaverage loaded with fans at last!!
I thought it was actually going free to play, not just some weekend trial. I guess with the garbage fire that they released this year they're desperate to get it in people's hands.
