And this, readers, is the problem with licensed content. Stranger Things’ jumbo DLC pack for Dead by Daylight – which includes the Demogorgon alongside key characters Nancy Wheeler and Steve Harrington – is leaving the game on 17th November. That’s a little over two years since it was added, so presumably that was roughly the duration of Behaviour Interactive’s contract.
If you already own the content, then you’ll be able to continue playing it, but it’ll be dumped from the in-game store and other vendors like the PS Store – a real shame. The Underground Complex Map will also be removed, and no one will be able to play on that from the aforementioned date, although we’re not huge fans of that arena so it’s not a massive loss.
The good news is that, if you don’t own any of the Stranger Things content yet, you can purchase it at 50 per cent off from now through until 17th November. All of the costumes will also be discounted, and you can get the Dead by Daylight: Stranger Things Edition at up to 50 per cent off from the PS Store. So, some big savings until the content is removed, then – but once it’s gone, it’s gone.

Gotta love how license holders can essentially tell developers and especially fans to screw off and we can't do jack about it.
Licensing is such a big killer for these things. I mean YouTuber Maximilian Dood started a social media campaign a few weeks ago to get Marvel Vs Capcom 2 rereleased because it's been 7 years since it was last legally available and it's stuck on PS3 and 360.
Nov 17th is my birthday!
DbD is one of those co-op games that I keep coming back too to play with friends. I bought the Stranger Things DLC so I'm happy to hear that those of us that already bought it will be able to keep our content. I also recently bought the Resident Evil DLC including putting extra money up for the Chris Redfield skin as he's a favorite character of mine. I wonder how long it is until Capcom tells the dev they can no longer sell the Resident Evil content?
this is real sad news.
why couldn't it have been the game itself ending instead of the DLC ??
Demogorgon is one of the most fun killers to go against and the indoor lab map is the best indoor-map in the game , if you know how to loop. so not only is the game passed its expiration date , but now its losing (the good) content , lol .
@nomither6 I agree that it’s probably the best indoor map. I do like Raccoon City if that counts. But So bizarre.
Just give me ST season 4!
These licenses are so dumb.
"Could be worse."- Super Mario fans.
I hate the Stranger Things map. 😂
Good thing I never got into this game then.
I don't have any problem with Harkin's Lab. It's infinitely better than RPD as far as liscensed indoor maps go, and is more balanced than than Killer-centric The Game. RPD sucks though. That map is so freaking confusing and badly designed, albeit it is one of the best looking maps in the game.
I'll miss Harkins. Some of my best games I've played there.
I should definitely pick up the Stranger Things DLC though. Never played as Nancy or Steve, or Demo.
@Entrr_username you can...buy it? Support them? I don't think it's that big of an issue. If they pulled it from your library after you bought it that would be horrific.
@RavenWolfe81 haha XD
