Master League eFootball PES PS5 PS4 1

Master League, the extremely popular Pro Evolution Soccer career mode, will return in eFootball as “optional DLC” on the PlayStation 5 and PS4. Following a fairly robust backlash over the past 24 hours, Konami confirmed that the offline team-building mode will return in its free-to-play soccer simulation, although it’s yet to share a release window of when we can expect it.

So far, the title’s roadmap includes online leagues and crossplay gameplay, but the initial launch – due out this Autumn – will be frighteningly barebones, featuring just nine licensed teams. Perhaps in an attempt to cool the criticism, the publisher announced the return of Master League on its Twitter account. It also promised that the title will take “full” advantage of each platform.

For those of you who don’t know, Master League allows you to manage an existing – or new – team, and assign training routines, scouts, and youth development. The idea is to build an unstoppable side, and win as many trophies as possible with them. For most fans of PES, this is the mode that gobbles up the majority of their playtime, so it’s good to learn that it will return – well, eventually, anyway.
