DICE LA, the developer of an as-of-yet-unannounced experience in Battlefield 2042, has been officially rebranded Ripple Effect Studios, as it expands and seeks to establish its own “identity”. In a press release, boss Christian Grass explained: “We’re so proud of our work as DICE LA and the DICE team will forever be a part of our DNA, but over the past eight years, we’ve developed our own culture and our own way of doing things.”
Ripple Effect Studios is set to raise the curtain on its work with Battlefield 2042 at EA Play Live later this month, but beyond that it sounds like it’ll be tasked with a new project. “At Ripple Effect Studios, innovation and quality are at the forefront of every project, as even the smallest idea can change the world,” Grass added. “This is the defining characteristic behind the studio’s new name.”

So cool, now when is it shutting down, EA?
They seriously named their company after a toilet paper slogan? Maybe they can get Mr. Whipple to be their spokesperson?
Logo look like a colon.
Ripple Effect? Like the way microtransactions ripple through every EA studio 🤔
@JaphyRider Perfect for churning out EA turds.
Ripple Effect? EA is more like a tsunami crashing through studios and destroying everything in its path.
Ripple effect sounds like my guts when I have a killer case of the trots! Like I do at the moment.
@Saucymonk Thank you enlightening my day with this knowledge,
Is DICE LA separate/different studio to DICE? Because DICE has been around since Amiga days
@twenty90seven Yes... DICE LA is made up of old staff from studio Danger Close Games / EA Los Angeles which was the studio that worked on the Medal of Honor games. After the tragic game that Medal of Honor: Warfighter. They became DICE LA and started working as a support studio.
