Former smartphone stealth game Republique is getting a PlayStation 4 re-release in the form of Republique: Anniversary Edition – and it’ll include PSVR support. Camoflaj, the game’s developer, has experience with Sony’s headset having developer Marvel’s Iron Man VR, so the addition is perhaps unsurprising – although it seems Skymap Games is behind the retooling.
This version will include developer commentary and will launch both physically and digitally, with Limited Run Games handling the former. There’s no release date right now, but if you’re feeling impatient, you could consider checking out the original version which we awarded a 7/10 in our Republique review some five years ago.

Republique: milking it edition
love the idea of this in VR
still bummed out about this never coming to vita back in the day. i just dont see myself playing this game on anything outside a portable device. maybe on android it is, with a hefty discount.
Of all games this is one of the last I'd predict would get rebooted. Cool to see it get a PSVR release though, definitely seems like a game that could benefit from it.
