Due to release at some point later this year, hand-drawn action RPG Tails of Iron has been announced for both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. You play as Redgi, a rat prince who's out to reclaim the throne of his furry people from an evil frog empire. We've already been snagged by the premise alone.
The press release promises "brutal" combat, detailed exploration, customisable fighting styles, and a crafting system that lets you make weapons, armour, and food to restore your health.
Tails of Iron also features the raspy voice of Geralt himself, Doug Cockle. He'll be on hand to narrate your adventure, which is pretty cool.
Does Tails of Iron have your attention? Stick it to those bloody frogs in the comments section below.

Wind's howling
He sounds exactly like Geralt, unlike Troy Baker who can surprise you with how diverse his voice is.

Listening to the narration just feels like I'm listening to dialogue in a Witcher 3 side quest.
Not that I'm complaining mind you.
How'd you like that silver?
Do you think they had to get permission from Bandai Namco to use the "Tails of" name?
That looks pretty interesting, it has my eye.
@SamMR I think it's intentional here. They know people will be interested hearing the same voice, so they probably hired him both for talent and to get the Witcher's audience interested. I think it's a clever move personally. Besides, you could always imagine this was Geralt telling a story Ciri growing up lol.
@Jaz007 Doug Cockle tries to do another voice.
Audio director: "could you make it a bit more Geralt"
He's typecast now! (work is work)
