Talented Japanese developer CyberConnect2 has given its upcoming RPG, Fuga: Melodies of Steel a release date on both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
The game's a bit of a weird one to explain. Basically, you play as a group of anthropomorphic villagers, who utilise a big bloody tank thing to fight back against an invading army. Combat is tactical, and you'll need to build relationships between your furry friends in order to make the most of their skills.
But there's a significant twist here, as all 12 main characters can seemingly be killed off as the story progresses. The game's setting itself up to be a lot darker than its fantastical tone suggests.
It looks quite interesting, and it's got a nice, rounded art style. Hopefully Fuga delivers when it launches on the 29th July.

Is this connected to Solatorobo and Tail Concerto?
@Sakisa Yeah, same universe.
@ShogunRok Oh cool. Those games are surprisingly really great. Will definitely check this out.
Looks good but I don't like the darker story.
This is the game where you can sacrifice one of your team to use the massive death cannon. What a concept!
@AchievingGamer That's my fetish....
Just remebered I never finished Valkyria Chronciles 4
Looks good, was looking for something weird after finishing 13 Sentinels...and now it seems I will have such a thing.
@Sakisa I believe the series is loosely connected games called Little Tail Bronx. Basically dog and cat people and steam powered bots and floating cities.
