We think it's fair to say that PlayStation Plus has had a pretty good year so far, but is May's offering up to snuff? Next month's (or this month's, depending on when you're reading) lineup includes the PS5 version of Wreckfest, alongside Battlefield V and Stranded Deep on PS4.
It's a very varied trio of games, but are you happy with the selection? As always, we want to hear your thoughts on PS Plus — good or bad. Vote in our polls, and then feed us an honest opinion in the comments section below.

I have Wreckfest on PS4, so the PS5 version should be awesome.
Not played the other two.
Been looking at Wreckfest for awhile now so I'm very happy to get that one.
Battlefield is always decent and I have long since sold my copy of this one so I am happy to have it again. Stranded deep I have been curious about for a while so again I am happy I can now give it a go. I have wreckfest on PS4 and it's a great game which is only let down by the long loading times and some graphical issues which should be fixed in the ps5 version so I am really happy about that.
Wreckfest could be fun. I’ll play the Battlefield campaign but I still need to get round to the WW1 one. Stranded Deep was OK back in like 2015 when I had it so it’ll be fun seeing how it’s changed although it’s on PS Now so I really could have done that before.
I love wreckfest on my PS4 and the improved load times on the ps5 will be very welcome.
Not happy, but wouldn't call it a "crap" selection, either. It's just not to my liking.
Never played any of the games included, if nothing else.
Not the best month but given how good the last few months have been then no complaints from me.
Looking forward to giving Demolition Derby-a-like a bash.
Pun intended.
Not really, but it doesn't matter for me in a month where RE Village and Famicom Detective Club come out.
It’d be amazing to get something of the same caliber of FF7 Remake or Control buy Wreckfest was on my buy list so I’m happy with it.
I enjoyed Battlefield 1 so I’ll give 5 a shot.
Looks like a good lineup with a good variety. Stranded Deep has my interest. I may also take Wreckfest for a spin. I will pass on B5.
Wreckfest looks ok in an “if I didn’t have a million other games I wanted to play I’d probably try it” kind of way. The others hold no interest. Will claim them as usual through.
Would definitely be happy if I had a PS5, Wreckfest looks fun. Something to look forward to though so not complaining.
I bought wreckfest in the first quarantine..easy platinum and super fun..nice soundtrack too..as for bf5..i'm a bf veteran so I got any game in physical..
Will be downloading Battlefield V and may add Stranded Deep to my library. Still got both Abzu and Subnautica so do I really need another aquatic adventure?
Probably!
It’s a decent selection if you don’t have any of them, or don’t have PS Now and EA Play.
I’ve already played it on the PS4 but I’ll give Wreckfest a try on the PS5.
I was a huge fan of the old Flatout games back in the day, so I’m definitely looking forward to Wreckfest.
Never gonna complain about free games here.
Need an option on the second question of “No, I already own the games.”
No, this month suck 😕
I remember Battlefield V bombing hard, so i'm not that bothered with that one. Wreckfest and Stranded deep will be getting a sniff though!
Not 'bad' I guess, but nothing of great interest to me.
No interest in Wreckfest or Battlefield 5 at all, but I might just pick up Stranded Deep.
Its ok.definetly downloading both.but my backlog ihuge now.i will try battlefield 5.but i got to many games.word up son
Coming from Switch Online I have a hard time ever being upset about getting free games... just finished Control and that was delightful.
How can anyone not be happy with PS5 version of Wreckfest!! Good job Sony
I don't have a PS5 yet, but as soon as I get one I want to play Wreckfest. Looks so much fun and reminds me of those racing games from the PS2 era.
Stranded Deep is what i'm excited for.
I would have naturally welcomed Wreckfest on PS4 instead - vehicle games are my thing, - but yet again, would it even control well on Vita? Enough of that riddle to come with Battlefield V - the games tend to feature a lot of FPS and vehicles, i.e. pretty fun unless the control scheme makes sure it isn't.
Not well-versed on Stranded Deep and up to my neck in survivals and other gradual builders on Switch as it is, but it's still a genre I particularly welcome, so hey. In other words, not much hype about this month for various personal reasons, but nothing to complain about either.
Not very interested in any of these but I wouldn't say they're bad either. I might give Wreckfest a spin.
Well amazingly this month I don't have any of the games on offer, so yes I'm very pleased.
Wreckfest is the one I'm looking forward to the most.
Neither of these are my cup of tea to be honest. I'm not complaining though, I've had a solid year so far with PS+, can't win them all!
Walking on sunshine. Thunderstruck. Just mind blowing stuff.
Though crowd here but as gamer i know even if you give 3 €60 games there will always be a few crybabies saying that its crap.
A unicorn month for me, as I don't have any of the games. My discipline is paying off!
glad its not just single-player games.
@Loftimus battlefield is much improved from launch. It still has its flaws but if you like the type of game it's worth a go.
No interest from me with any of the games but hope others enjoy them at least I have plenty of games to play atm so no loss for me
Yes, yes I am happy
Wow looking at the poll you guys have really crappy taste in games.
@Luminous117 its cause sony gave away ff7 remake last month. For a really good game to be free giveaway they gonna start giving us the really bad games for a while.
Not real happy with this month, but if you get 2 good games in a year, Plus more than pays for itself. This year alone there's already been 4 that I'd put in that category, so not a complaint in the world.
I already bought wreckfest very recently, so that's unfortunate. Still, it's a fun game. Stranded Deep isn't co-op so I will skip that. Firestorm was alright so I may play a game or 2 with my bud if he's up for downloading it. I guess it's an alright month.
Just release GodFall on PS+ already. Dead game but I will play it for free lol.
I already have Wreckfest. I hoped for more destruction and less full throttle difficult racing...
B5... another "army game" is just one above my zero limit.
Crap month and not looking forward to any of them. I will prob claim Battlefield V just because though.
Very excited to try wreckfest on PS5, cautiously optimistic about stranded deep, and zero interest in Battlefield
Good games but it's crap when ye already own them doh
Already have Wreckfest on PS4 and got the plat so doubt ill play the PS5 version, im done with that game. Battlefield/COD, no thanks. Stranded Deep actually looks okay for a survival game which im not usually a fan of, especially single player ones. Would have tried it if it was co-op. No problem, cant have a good month every month. Getting Hood: Outlaws & Legends for some interesting co-op action in 4 days anyway.
Any opinion on the single-player campaign in Battlefield V? I don't really do multiplayer, I suck at FPSs, but I still like to try the blockbusters when they become available through my subscriptions.
Really looking forward to giving Wreckfest a spin. I just wish it had split-screen multi so I could play with my kid.
Not a selection that appeals to me really but I can’t complain, since around October last year every month has been very high quality. Might give Wreckfest a spin!
@lolwhatno
BFV is really fun now.
I had it at launch and played it for a few months. Back then it was ROUGH and I do mean ROUGH around the edges.
But I recently redownloaded it and played some matches and it’s a much better game now.
@nofriendo
It’s solid. Not fantastic mind you, but it’s worth a play through.
My favorite story section was “The Last Tiger.” You play as a Panzerkamfwagen Mark VI Tiger commander and the story actually does a good job of showing how Germany was falling apart in the spring of 1945 from the German point of view.
I like it when movies and games show WWII from the German or Japanese point of view. Of course, the game self censors a lot of facts but that’s necessary for mass market appeal.
Still I’m glad they did it. It’s a good little mini campaign.
