Developers keep on finding new ways to take advantage of the PlayStation 5 DualSense controller, and Antab Studio is no different. The Italian team is bringing Foreclosed to PS5 and PS4 on 12th August 2021, with the former console enhancing the experience through the use of Haptic Feedback, Adaptive Triggers, and the controller's lights and speaker. There's a comic book aesthetic fuelling Foreclosed — gameplay can be split across multiple scenes, as the trailer above reveals. On the PS Store, the game will cost £14.99. A physical version will set you back another £5.
A PlayStation Blog post then expands on the premise: "To set the stage, Foreclosed is set in a dystopian cyberpunk future where your very identity is a commodity. The game stars Evan Kapnos, an everyman whose day goes from bad to worse – fast. Kapnos’ story is delivered in a stylish comic book aesthetic to pull you into the narrative." Depending on the weapon you have equipped, the PS5's Adaptive Triggers will then react differently in accordance with the mods you have equipped. Furthermore, the PS5 controller will play calls through its built-in speaker.
But here's the cool part: the lights on the face of the DualSense pad will change to match the implants inside main character Evan that are currently overheating. "To help visualize this, the light on the DualSense controller will change to match the heat level of Evan’s implants, giving you a constant visual to keep you in the moment during a fight. Will you play it safe, or push your limits?"
Again, Foreclosed hits PS5 and PS4 on 12th August 2021. Do you like the look of it? And how about those PS5 DualSense controller implementations? Post your thoughts in the comments below.

The game itself looks great, and the exclusive features are enough to ensure I'd get it on PS5 (outside of a weird price difference or something). Can't wait for more details on this one!
But influencers and gaming journalists who stated that Gamepass won the console war told me that nobody will use Dualsense features. Nobody!
What?! What madness is this?!? A digital game CHEAPER than it's physical counterpart? How does that even make sense? (Sarcasm)
Does that give you a "constant visual," though? I don't stare at my hands while I play. My controller is completely out of my peripheral vision. I look at the screen, not down at my hands and lap.
Sounds cool. Interesting to see a release that's actually cheaper on digital, than disk... I wonder if this'll become more presient going ahead, as companies push more towards a digital platform!
To me, this looks like Control with great visuals, but the gameplay looks stiff at best.
@MFTWrecks A constant option while in combat. It’s easy to bring the controller into view or glance down if the feedback is worthwhile.
@Spiders Nah. I'm never going to keep taking my eyes off the screen when playing. If the action affords me that opportunity, it's probably not intense enough to warrant me needing that sort of insight or feedback into what's happening.
It's a dumb feature.
@MFTWrecks No idea if it’s worth it in this game but Splatoon on WiiU proved there is absolutely a place for off-screen feedback. Plus, this is a literally a light so you should be able to point it into your FOV and not have to take your eyes off of anything. You’re right that it’s probably a throwaway feature but I think you’re too harsh on the concept.
