It Takes Two PS5 PlayStation 5

We distinctly remember Josef Fares, the confident and outspoken game director, hyping up It Takes Two ahead of release. Even in the earliest videos about the game, he was saying the game would "blow your f***ing mind away". Well, the cocky creator is at it again, already talking up Hazelight Studios' unannounced fourth game.

In an interview with Push Square, Fares talks about the critical reception to It Takes Two, and gets onto the subject of the team's next project. "To be honest, I'm not that surprised [about the good reception], because I always have a strong belief in what we do," he tells us. He continues, hyping up the next game from Hazelight. "If you ask me about our next game, I can tell you now, it will be even better than It Takes Two," Fares says. "It's gonna be so crazy. That's how sure I am, like the concept, what's gonna happen, and people will be blown away."

It's in keeping with his character to talk the talk, but with the studio's history, we can probably have faith he'll come good on his word in the end. Hazelight's next game is likely a couple of years or so away, but we're confident it'll be worth the wait.
