We now know the identity of every playable character in Samurai Warriors 5. The roster is made up for 27 fighters, and Koei Tecmo has only just finished revealing the last few. You can see every playable character in the game's cool new story trailer, which we've embedded above.

I really want to be excited for this game, but every new piece of information sets off another red flag. I'm still going to get it, but this feels more and more like another half-measure from Koei.
I recognize several of those, mainly just form all of these games.
Watching my son play the Immortals Fenyx Rising Myth of the Eastern Realms DLC this week all I kept thinking was how Gong Gong looked like very heavy weapon wielding character in every one of these games. 😂 With maybe a touch of Kraven the hunter. 😉
It looks great but im playing Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate now and if you see how many characters that game has then this is kind of dissapointing im missing my favorite female archer. I thought yes but now im thinking im waiting for the physical Ultimate edition. And if they go the seasonpass route im good.
I'm kind of disappointed in the character selection and the fact that Koei hasn't fixed the awkward conversations the character's have seems really lazy.
I'll still buy it though. Day One.
Looks cool! Outside of the One Piece Musou, Samurai Warriors is my favorite.
I appreciate the new take of going back in time to the younger versions of Oda, Shingen Takeda, Uesugi etc. as they rise up and take charge of their respective regions.
It was cool to see what we know of Oda to look like now at the end of the trailer, plus his voice changing to a more serious tone is good to hear.
Excited for this one in July 2021.
@QBGaming12 This is one serie that really makes me wait for the XL or Ultimate editions they cut out way to many characters. And with the amount of DLC they add its kinda ridiculous.
