Astro's Playroom PS5 PlayStation 5 1

Update 12/3/21: The Astro's Playroom soundtrack is now available on all the usual music platforms. Through this link, you'll find a list of stores and services, including Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music, Deezer, iTunes Store, and more.

Original Story: There are many things to like about Astro's Playroom on PlayStation 5. It's a joyous platformer that not only celebrates the DualSense controller, but the whole history of the brand. There's one part of the game that may stick with you once you're done, however — the music. Whether it's the ultra-catchy GPU Jungle song or the super-synthy beat of SSD Speedway, there's not really a dud in the short-but-sweet soundtrack.

Good news, then: the OST is being made available separately on 12th March 2021. As announced over on the PlayStation Blog, the game's music will be ready to go on all the usual stores and services in just a couple of days. If you've been hoping to add these cheerful tunes to your playlists, your time has come.

Within that same PS Blog post is a very interesting story about how the song for GPU Jungle was made. The composer goes through various early versions of the track, explaining the process that brought lyrics to the song, and finding the right tone to match the level.
