Borderlands 3 PS4 PlayStation 4

What's going on with this Borderlands movie adaptation? The games are popular looter shooters, of course, and they certainly have a sense of humour in their stories, but it seems the flick is attracting the attention of some pretty big Hollywood names.

As previously reported, comedian and actor Kevin Hart signed up to the project, and will portray Roland. He joins Cate Blanchett, who will play Lilith in the Borderlands movie. Now, the latest addition to the cast is Jamie Lee Curtis, who's appeared in many great films — Halloween, True Lies, A Fish Called Wanda, and Knives Out are just a few.

She will act alongside the aforementioned cast members as archaeologist Tannis. The Hollywood Reporter writes the character "might have the key to finding a vault filled with alien weapon technology, but whose complicated history with Lilith isn’t going to help".

Again, there doesn't appear to be a date attached to the film, but it seems to be shaping up fairly well so far. There's a ways to go, but the cast is pretty great at this point. Are you looking forward to the Borderlands movie? Tell us in the comments section below.
