Eagle-eyed Twitter users have spotted a new listing on the Nintendo eShop that states the first piece of DLC for the fairly good Immortals Fenyx Rising is right around the corner. The expansion titled A New God is slated for release on 21st January 2021 — the first of three major post-launch drops planned by Ubisoft. The tweet from Twitter account PlayStation Game Size shared the news alongside a Trophy list for the DLC, as spotted on PSN Profiles. Whenever a list of trinkets is picked up by the website, that generally means the content in question is launching shortly.
Back in November, the French publisher described this first DLC offering as an expansion of the base game's ending with the protagonist visiting Rome. While that narrative wasn't the highlight of Immortals Fenyx Rising, it still made for a worthwhile title. "While Immortals Fenyx Rising may not have too many ideas to call its own, Ubisoft has created a successful amalgamation worth checking out", is how we concluded the 7/10 Push Square review. Now we await confirmation from Ubisoft to see if the listing's release date is true or not.

I’m not super far into this game, but I’m really enjoying it! Got it on a whim on its sale, and so glad I did. If you’re on the fence, I’d give it a go.
Having a great time with this game. A lot like the recent Assassin’s Creed games, and I really love the art style.
I'm playing this after I finish Assassin's Creed. It is a Zelda Breath of the Wild rip off but still looks like fun with a Greek twist.
So glad I gave this game a chance. It's the only Ubisoft game I've enjoyed in over four years. I think it even does some things much better than BOTW and Assassin's Creed.
Really looking forward to starting this game! But not until I finish Assassins Creed Valhalla...which will be months yet at this rate..
I really enjoyed it a lot, more than I expected and am intrigued by the dlc. I absolutely adored BOTW and although it lends a lot from both that and the original God of War series I think it also successfully manages to be its own game too.
Love this game! Bursting with vibrant colors, fun stories, magical soundtrack, and humor.
Open worlds are my jam but I feel recent AC games have gotten almost too exhausting. Was gonna get Valhalla, but for some reason took a chance on this and so glad I did.
Takes the best elements/mechanics from Zelda and Assassins Creed and polishes them into shining gems. While still creating something very unique.
Hope to see a lot more from this fresh IP and excited for the expansions.
Really enjoying this game (about 30 hours in) but by the time I’m done grinding out the Platinum I know all be all Fenyx’d out!
Release dates (probably tentative dates, I would assume) were already available on the Nintendo eShop.
A New God: Jan 21st
Lost Gods: Feb 25th
When the Roads Get Rocky: April 1st
Let's see if this will be the real calendar. It feels pretty aggressive to me but would love to see them all out before summer!
I'm having a blast on PS5 so far with it!
I shouldn't have bought the Gold Edition for Watch Dogs, this is the best Ubi game of 2020 and I regret my decision. Oh well, time to buy the season pass after it comes out, I really want to keep playing this game
I love this game! The comedy "sketches" are funny and refreshing. The puzzles in the dungeons/vaults are fun and yet not too difficult. The jumping is where I need to improve though. This reminds me so much of "Breath of the Wild". The RPG elements are clear and present. On the PS5 this game looks super great!
Payed the $15 Ubi+ subscription to try out (and Legion). Gave up on it.
Played AC:Valhalla first (92hrs) and this just seemed lacking in every way by comparison. Art, world, music, story... you name it. Art reminded me more of a Mobile game than ZBOTW (ZBOTW, runs circles around this also)
The awful floating blocks in the Vault of Ares was the last straw (Felt more like doing work than fun) - uninstalled.
@jipiboily Thanks for the dlc dates. I could see me CB picking up the "gold edition" or whatever they call it during an E3 sale. If E3 is back this year. If not, whatever takes it's place. I need me some centrally located gaming news, Nintendo especially is killing me but I'd like some PS5 dates as well.
I'm absolutely loving this game. It's really worth more than the sum of it's parts and didn't get the love it deserves at launch. It's nothing that sets the world on fire, but at the same time will probably end up being one of the most pure fun experiences of the year.
@Agramonte I dunno, feels more like zbotw 1.5 with less annoying combat and a deliberately less serious tone (human guards quip about their weapons always breaking, and how you're minmaxing well.). Like one big botw outtake reel. It's refreshing when games aren't all about the apocalypse once in a while. It's ubisoft aping Nintendo aping ubisoft.
@NEStalgia Sort about apocalypse... I mean even moments the entire world turns red when the guy starts rambling.
I just did not find any of the 4 sections I did all that fun. Liked the word art ok but character art I just hated. The Athena kid design I found straight out of Mobile 101. Same as Aphrodite's face in the tree. The scanning the horizon must be the worst way to populate icons in an open world I have ever seen. I stop doing it after Athena.
I give it to Ubi. "Everyone is stone" is a brilliant excuse to make empty locations. No idea if more pop up later, but Valhalla had more population and personalities just in Crow home base.
I played Tsushima, Miles Morales, Valhalla and now Cyberpunk. And this was the open world a cared the least about. I would play those all day, it would be 2am and I would force myself to stop. Fenyx I would walk away after only an hour or two.
This 7/10 review was pure nonsense. So if you’re interested grab this excellent game. Far more pure fun than the ***** Cyberpunk.
Really want this game to sell more, definitely want it to be a continuous franchise, especially when I was so disappointed with BoTW and this is far more entertaining
This game is incredible and I am looking forward to the DLC, but man, DLC a month after release just feels like a weird business choice to me. I mean, the game is totally worth $60 on its own, so paying for DLC is arguably fair, but it just seems like such bad practice to announce a season pass before the game is out and then proceed to drop the first content a month later. Did they even need extra the month to finish this content or could it have been on the disc day 1?
It's a shame such a great game is stuck in the awful Ubisoft DLC machine. I also can't wait for them to run it into the ground with annual sequels that get bigger and bigger for no reason when the current scale of the game is just perfect.
@Agramonte well... Greek comedy...... Which is always apocalyptic in a joyous way, lol.
But it's mostly a light comedy/satire which is a theme sorely, sorely lacking in the games industry which is always on a race for who can have the most gloomy, angsty melodrama for hormonal teenagers and 30 year old man children. :what's the last comedy Ubi has made since bg&e? Everything is srs bsns.
But I'm definitely loving every moment of the game. Like botw, it's chill to get lost finding all the stuff. I never want to put it down. "Just one more chest..."
I'm sure I'll be glued to Valhalla and cyberpunk too. Bought Valhalla on the sale.... But fenyx and legion first. But fenyx is just a joyful experience to me, for sure.
@LooseSeal88 One thing that's nice about Ubisoft dlc is, yeah, it's canned before release, but it's usually a genuine paralogue outside the main events of the story, and often outside the tone or real canon of the main game, so it feels legitimately like additional separate content rather than something ripped out of the full game for separate sales. AC games usually have something supernatural or mythological as dlc that doesn't really fit the real game. Fenyx really started as being a dlc for ac odyssey dealing with mythology before they split it off into this new IP. Wd: legion gets a crossover with wd1 and a crossover with ac. So none of it feels like they're just selling chapters they ripped out of the game (glares at square Enix.....)
I can only dream of annual bloated sequels, though. I'll take them! I fear instead the weak reception will end the franchise here, or at least end in 15 years of sequel begging like bg&e,
Just wanted to say if you haven’t got this game yet go for it! It really has surprised me. I see a lot of trash talk about the accents and the narration, but to me it is gold.
@NEStalgia Yeah the Zeus lines are lol funny at times. They did get the humor right, that is for sure.
I am planning on getting another month of Uplay+ to play FarCry6 when it comes out - so I will give it another try.
Glad you are getting your money worth out of it.
@Agramonte Sometimes games just click or don't I suppose. Some people hate BotW, but since you like BotW, I'd have thought this would click with you as well. It seems to be well received among most BotW fans since the gameplay approach is so similar. I'm definitely curious how it goes for you if you give it another chance. It could be that going in with the wrong mood just mucks with the pacing and made it feel wrong.
I've been playing it as kind of my nightly unwinding game after something more intense since it's very much a game where it plays at whatever pace you want to play and kind of scenic. Except then I get addicted to the loop and don't want to stop. My biggest problem is just "using it up too fast" while I want it to last longer.
I'll agree with you on Far Sight, though....it's kind of an annoying way to mark out all the locations, just trying to line up all the vibrations. I've revealed 2 of the regions that way, but I'm going in blind, BotW style for the other 2. Partly to extend the game rather than checking everything off the map, and partly because homing in on all the vibrations is just annoying
@NEStalgia Yeah, I am very excited for the Chinese themed DLC.
Worst game title of the year. Fenyx? Lol sooo lame.
@jipiboily Thanks for sharing the other two DLC release dates!
