The PlayStation 5 is here, and 2020 is beginning to wind down. The holiday season is nearly upon us, so it's prime time to pick up some last-minute gaming gifts. There are also a few big PS5 and PS4 games launching in the next couple of months, and we're going to lay them all out for you here in this guide.
If you're after PS5 stock, be sure to check the link, as we're keeping it updated as much as possible. In the meantime, see below for all the PS5 and PS4 games you could want releasing in December and January.

Immortals Fenyx Rising - 3rd December
Formerly named Gods & Monsters, this is a colourful open world action game from Ubisoft. Set within Greek mythology, this game gives you a huge free-roaming map to explore, lots of beasties to bash, and a story narrated by Zeus and Prometheus. With a silly sense of humour and DreamWorks-style presentation, here's a family-friendly action RPG to get lost in. Best of all, it's coming to both PS5 and PS4.
Cyberpunk 2077 - 10th December
Forget PS5 — one of this year's biggest releases is undoubtedly Cyberpunk 2077. This is the new game from CD Projekt RED, developers of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and it's another enormous RPG to sink your teeth into. With a huge futuristic city to explore, all kinds of characters to meet, and endless role-playing possibilities, this one could last you a long time.
Hitman 3 - 20th January
IO Interactive is returning to its brilliant assassination sandbox series with Hitman 3. Once again, you'll play as Agent 47 in globetrotting missions to take down targets in picturesque locations. This time, the game will be available on PS5 and PS4, and with full PlayStation VR support to boot. If you own the previous two Hitman games, all that content and your save data will be brought forward into Hitman 3 as well, making for an utterly enormous package. Good work, 47.

Might as well just delete the whole list apart from Cyberpunk 2077.
@Quintumply Any information on the PS5 release of Cyberpunk 2077, or is that still TBD?
Ooh I’m buzzing for Hitman 3, way more than any other game on that list.
Also, for anyone picking up Devil May Cry V SE, Game Club over on the forums is playing it in a few weeks after finishing Undertale!
I'll be getting Cyberpunk and then settling down for the winter
Control’s ps5 version is due too I think?
I want to get Cyberpunk day one but I fully expect it to run poorly on PS4. If only I could find a PS5...
Really hope Cyberpunk lives up to all this hype! I'll not be getting it on release day, I'll wait a few days and see what the first impressions are before I decide.
Override 2 PS4 ! 😀
I'll be getting Cyberpunk 2077 and going into another lockdown.
I've got Devil may Cry preordered and am also quite interested in Empire of Sin.
Cyberpunk and Hitman are the big ones for me. I'm also up for some Dragon Quest XI S, though I'm in no rush for that one.
When will we be seeing Cyberpunk reviews?
@nessisonett can't stand hitman games but eagerly awaiting cyberpunk and have my eye on Fenyx Rising .
Shame they can't just put the vr versions on the ps5 hitman version as well so may end up having to get the ps4 version just so I can play vr to
Aside from the obvious, I'm pretty hyped about Chronos: before the ashes, a souls like game with an aging mechanic.
CyberPunk for me.
I have it on PC. It is coming to GeforceNOW so can link it and make it my Handheld to end the year.
Also want Hitman 3 and Nioh 2: First Samurai DLC.
@God_of_Nowt I have the download version of John wick hex it's been out a while on ps4 and its really good. Frustrating at times but a really good game
Really looking forward to Hitman
I believe that Cyberpunk being delayed again was the best thing that happened to every game that came out on November and the worst for all these games listed
@Mega-Gazz Delayed till 2021
I have no interest in any of these, except Space Invaders, which is fine, as I have plenty to play.
I'm not keen on Cyberpunk, and I have a feeling it will be a letdown to many anticipating it, unfortunately.
@Turbodream Unless you're a verb, I think you mean "hyped".
Not gonna lie, I thought some of these were out already
Any other older players like myself, actually curious about the Space Invaders game?
Anyways, looking forward to Space Invaders and Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 for myself, possibly some others on the list, but really trying to play backlog catch up and saving up for the PS5 after the holidays. Possibly, will get Puyo 2 on the PS5 for in the future.
@JLPick As an older gamer I am intrigued but not sure I will purchase it unless reviews force me too If it was an Arkanoid game they could take my money now 👍
Can't wait for Cyberpunk I just hope it delivers, in CDPR we trust!
Must beat Demon's Souls before Cyberpunk drops!
@thedevilsjester cyberpunk 2077 release in on PS4 and PS5 the same day
@d0a01xz Unfortunately, they don't. There isn't even a listing for the PS5 version yet.
What they said is: "your PS4 copy of the game will work on PS5 on launch day" and then followed that up with "A later upgrade to Cyberpunk 2077, taking full advantage of the next-gen hardware, will be available for free"
No solid information about when the actual PS5 version (or PS5 upgrade patch) will be available, just that they made sure the PS4 version worked on your PS5 (via Backward compatibility).
its worth to mention that cyberpunk PS5 Upgrade will come out later in 2021. the PS5 Owners will not take the full advantage of it at the release date. so I will wait.
Cyberpunk 2077!
Hitman 3 lost me when they announced that they wouldn't be using the move controllers.
I'm just ignoring cyberpunk. Why play it now when the ps5/xsx patch improves it later?
Anyone know how the vr works for hitman? I have 1 on ps2, 2 on xb... Not sure where to get 3, but if vr is full campaign that might push it is ps5.
Nothing in December or January that I want to own/play ASAP. I'll wait for all of the games to drop down to $20 in a year or two.
