This is a game that wouldn't have ever happened if Activision still owned the rights to the Spiderman games. Spiderman being made by Insomniac was the best thing that could ever happen.

@Nepp67 That's both true and untrue. Activision did excellent work with the license while they still had it, as they also did with Ultimate Alliance 1 & 2 since I think those games still far outclass Ultimate Alliance 3 on Switch. Beenox's original Spider-Man games are actually really good and Edge of Time is criminally underrated in my opinion. TASM only happened because higher ups pressured them into doing a movie tie in to capitalize on the new franchise at Sony's behest. The previous Spider-Man movie tie ins excluding 3 actually felt like they were made with a love for the character by comparison. One thing I'd love to see Insomniac do next is incorporate the wider Marvel Universe through character cameos or having other heroes in supporting roles like Web of Shadows and Ultimate Spider-Man. I'd love to see their interpretations of Daredevil and the Avengers personally

With that being said I am glad Insomniac got a shot at it. I loved titles like Ultimate Spider-Man, Web of Shadows and Edge of Time growing up, but seeing an iteration on that formula with the narrative quality of other SIE-developed games is really refreshing

@Shepherd_Tallon I also have the game, but I still can't find a PS5, so it'll probably just be a room decoration for a while.

I only watched the film a few days ago.Not really into animated films but id say this one was possibly the best film I've seen all year..not that I've seen many mind.
But isant the Ps5 game supposed to mess up your console or something?I really want it but don't want to ruin my PS5 day one.

I've never used Rest Mode in any console and doubt I will for Ps5 so hopefully I'll be ok but I think I'll still wait for a patch or something before risking it.

This is such a great game. I'm closing in on the end of the story. The Venom Blasts and Camouflage really elevate the combat, and it both looks and sounds fantastic. I'm hoping they announce plans for DLC.

Completed this yesterday on ps4. Didnt for 1 second wish i was playing it on a ps5 as it still looks amazing. Miles is so much cooler than parker and i love the hip hop music in the game. I also like the parker character change.
