Sackboy: A Big Adventure is shaping up to be the sleeper hit in the PlayStation 5’s launch lineup, and its Trophy list has now appeared online like a Pop It after you’ve pushed the Square button. This is for the PlayStation 4 version of the game, but you can rest assured the trinkets will be identical on Sony’s next-gen system – especially seeing as the title offers a free PS4 to PS5 upgrade.
A bunch of the Trophies centre of story-related feats, but you’ll also be rewarded for collecting stickers, earning gold medals, and assembling costume pieces. This is effectively a multiplayer game, so you’ll earn gongs for partying with your pals and completing various levels together as well. Obviously we don’t know how challenging the game will be, but there do appear to be some toughies here.

After Astrobot, Sackboy is the second game I'm booting up for PS5! Can't wait for it! Everything looks so charming and fun, we finally have our Mario game Ponies! Here's hoping anyway...
Looks good, but the big test for me is whether both players get the appropriate trophies and not the inappropriate ones. PS has always had an issue with either player 2 not getting a trophy like complete a multiplayer level or both getting any trophy such as heal your teammate. Really hope they have this fixed this gen.

I love that Sony is branching out with Sackboy. Hope we can get new and fresh takes every few years like Mario games.

Really tempted to pick this up, but i think i want to see reviews drop first to know more about the length etc. I reckon this will get an 8/10. It does look very good

Speaking of trophies, have they shown the ps5 trophy notifications yet? I imagine it keeps that satisfying 'ding' but I don't remember seeing the visuals.
@Odium Right, so in theory you could buy the PS5 version and still play it with three players using PS4 controllers, while player one has the PS5 controller? Have I got that right? Or would you all have to use DS4s?

I know, I wouldn’t pay £90, or even £60, or anywhere close. But then, I wouldn’t pay more than around £25 max, and that’s not realistic unless others subsidise me by buying at ridiculous release prices, so I can’t complain.
This is where they ruined it for me and probably for others, when they include multiplayer trophies...🙄🤦🏽♂️
@Gremio108 that’s a good question. In theory, it makes sense that you’d be able to play it with one DS5 and three DS4s so hopefully that’s the case. It’s be a smart selling point for Sony if they did it that way.

This list kinda reminds me of Yooka Laylee and the Impossible Lair. If this game is as good as that or close to it then it will be a fine launch title. Would have been a cool old school console pack in game.

Really sorry to hear that dude, I haven't had any shenanigans yet thankfully. Had an email saying the order has left the warehouse and is with the courier and will be delivered on time next week.
