The marketing budget for Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales always looked pretty big, but it’s gotten mental over the past week or so. We’ve had licensed Adidas sneakers, Jaden Smith music videos, and now… ESPN’s Stephen A Smith! But no, he’s not ranting at Max Kellerman or being interrupted by Molly Qerim, he’s in a church (?) talking about Spider-Man (?).

In the short commercial, the sports broadcaster drops a bit of intel on Miles in his trademark style. It’s a nice little ad which, presumably, will help the title to reach an even wider audience. If this is the budget for Miles Morales, though, can you imagine how much Sony’s going to spend on the inevitable Marvel’s Spider-Man 2?
